“Our guide Chris from Colombia was excellent. Her knowledge of German Altbeer, production processes and flavor profiles was pivotal for us to learn more about local culture and history of beer. She also can speak a perfect German which is helpful during the tour as most of the menus, posters and traditional signages in pubs are in German. Overall the experience was fantastic, we had nice chats and shared life experiences. It felt as going out for beer with a local friend. Highly recommended. Thank you ! 🙏”

The route includes the Berlin Wall, Brandenburg Gate, Checkpoint Charlie, Museum Island, and a beer garden lunch at your own cost.

“A great way to see Berlin in a day with a very knowledgeable tour guide, much better than walking all day. Our tour guide was Yael, a 34 year old woman from Israel who had immigrated to Germany a bit over 3 years ago. She was charismatic and passionate with a wealth of knowledge to impart on us. Apparently in addition to being a tour guide she worked the improv clubs as a standup comic and of course supported herself as a waitress. I would highly recommend the tour, especially if you are lucky enough to have Yael as your guide”

The mostly flat route suits casual cyclists, and the 40-minute English Garden stop includes time for beer and regional food, though you pay for refreshments separately.

“The bike tour is rain or shine, and I was pleased to see that most people arrived for the tour suitably prepared for the predicted rain. Hose who were not were able to buy rain ponchos in the shop before the tour. The bikes were very easy to ride with all-terrain tires and had good rear splash guards to keep dry. This was not a “normal” tour as our guide let us decide how many stops to make due to the rain, and we ended up cutting the tour short to get back early to dry off, warm up and go to lunch a bit early instead of biking through…”
